There are some that consider Video Gamers to be one of the largest unreached people groups on the planet. While it can be discussed that Gamers may not officially be a people group, we can wholeheartedly agree that Gamers need Jesus.
And that’s the heart of Pastor Souzy. Lead Pastor of God Squad, Pastor Souzy has grown his digital-only church by reaching, shepherding and discipling Gamers. Using Twitch Streams and Discord Communities, God Squad probably looks nothing like your church, but that’s not a bad thing.
So let’s learn something. Let’s learn about Twitch, about Streaming, about Video Game Culture. Let’s learn the mindset about video gamers, and how we can use digital to be the church of video gamers.
