13 Fall Social Media Posts Your Church Can Share

With the fall season comes new opportunities for your Church to engage with your community. This is not just for your Church community but for your local and online community as well. One of the best ways to do that is through social media. Social media allows you to connect and encourage people each and every day. 

With the opportunities there are for you to connect with others on social media, here are 13 fall related social media post ideas that your church can use. Check them out as a starting point for lots of cool opportunities to minister and engage your community this year.

  1. September 23rd is the 1st day of fall. Share a "Happy first day of fall" post. Encourage them to share their favorite things about the season.

  2. Share about different Fall Festivities in your area. It could even be the one your Church is hosting. are here! It could be fall festivals, apple picking, trunk-or-treats, etc.

  3. Share Bible verses that go with this time of year. Ecclesiastes 3:1 is a great one to start but there are plenty of them. "For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven." 

  4. Have people share their pumpkins that they decorated  

  5. Ask people to share their favorite fall recipes. 

  6. Have staff members share their favorite things about the fall, including memories, day trip ideas and food recipes
  7. Encourage people to post pictures of their kids, pets, or themselves in their favorite fall sweaters or scarves.

  8. Thankful Thursday. Ask people to  comment what they are grateful for this fall. This is especially good during the month of November

  9. Show us your festive fall door decorations or front porches. 

  10. Share photos of your family's Halloween costumes (make sure they are appropriate)

  11. Share DIY tips for the fall for people and their houses
  12. Share crafts families can do together. You can share one for each month (September, October and November). If you can find something that relates to scripture, even better.
  13. Ask for prayer requests. As festive as the fall can be, there are people who are lonely and not so joyful. Ask how you can pray for them.

Just like any other season during the year, the fall provides unique opportunities for your Church to engage your community. Social media is the perfect way to do that. Here are twelve simple posts you can make and even expand on that will engage, encourage and bring a smile throughout the fall season.
