4 Online Next Steps You Should Have for Easter

Easter is approaching and with it comes a lot of excitement. Not only has Spring arrived with the weather turning warmer and the grass getting greater, but this is one of the most exciting times of the year for Churches as well. After all, families make it a priority to go to Church on Easter Sunday. They come dressed up, candy and sweet treats are often given out and it is an overall festive environment as it is a celebration of the resurrection of Christ. It is the most important event in history of the world.

As you prepare for your Church Online Easter Service, it is important to think through all you have to do and get accomplished. One of those steps is to create a next steps that your online attendees, especially the new attendees can do after the service is over. Here are 4 online next steps your Church can have this Easter.

Connection Cards. These are great for Churches to capture information about who is attending and get them the information they want to know about your Church. This is usually an easy first step people take when they want to learn more about your Church. Make sure you have a digital card set up so online attendees can simply click a link the Chat Room or type it in when they see it.

Zoom Meet and Greet. This is very similar to a "Meet the Pastor" type of in person event Churches offer. Here you can share people a link for a time later on Easter Sunday or even on the Monday after Easter to meet the Online or Senior Pastor. The Pastor can share the mission and vision of the Church as well as answer questions they may have. It doesn't have to be a long Zoom call, but it could be a great next step for people to take. It is more personable than a connection card.

Bible Studies. Hopefully people attending online will hear something during the Easter service that will cause them to want to learn more about Jesus. Have a few different Online Bible Studies available that you can share those links with people as they may be interested in taking a next step and being part of one of those.

Service Opportunities. Serving and helping others is a great way for people to grow in their faith. Make sure you have a link to share service opportunities or even a gift assessment survey they can take to find out what kind of service opportunities they may be good at your Church.

Easter Sunday is an amazing Sunday for people and the Church. Make sure your online attendees have every opportunity to connect and take a next step so that Easter online can be an amazing experience for them.
