PASTOR OVER TEXT?
There are plenty of ways to pastor someone digitally, through Zoom or even through Avatars in virtual reality. But text-only? Surely there’s some difficulty in that environment.
Enter Jonathan Song, Director of Pastor Chat at Churchome. Churchome has leaned heavily into it’s mobile app, even to the point of pastoring people around the country via chat/text messaging.

Jonathan Song has been part of Churchome since 2010 and is currently the Pastor Chat Manager, serving Churchome’s global community through their digital platforms. Born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, he is a proud Korean-American and is a graduate of Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington with a Bachelor’s Degree in both Pastoral Ministry and Biblical Studies. When he’s not in front of his computer, you can find him looking for a great cup of coffee and an even better bite of food.
